How to maintain a soybean quilt in summer?

Step 1: Daily Use – Ensure Good Ventilation
Even if you don't turn on the air conditioning in the summer, it's recommended to turn the blanket over and spread it out after getting up in the morning to let the sweat from the night dissipate. Find a sunny day each week to air it out in a well-ventilated area to remove moisture and odors.
Step 2: Cleaning – Wash as little as possible
It is not recommended to frequently wash soybean quilts, especially to machine wash the entire quilt. Washing can damage the fiber structure, causing the filling to clump together.
· Partially dirty: Gently wipe with a neutral detergent and a damp cloth, then blow dry.
· Must be washed: Choose a gentle cycle, wash in cold water, do not use bleach, do not tumble dry
· The most worry-free option: Just put on a removable and washable duvet cover and wash it regularly.
Step 3: Storage – Breathability and moisture resistance are key
When not using a soybean quilt in the summer:
1. First, thoroughly dry it (air dry or lightly sun-dry).
2. Fold gently, do not squeeze forcefully.
3. Place it in a non-woven fabric storage bag (do not use a plastic bag!)
4. Place a few packets of food desiccant or bamboo charcoal packets.
5. Place it on a high shelf in the wardrobe to avoid moisture.
Step 4: Reboot for the New Season – Don't Cover It Directly
When it's time to use it again in autumn:
1. First, let it air out in a ventilated area for half a day to remove the smell from storage.
2. Gently pat to restore the fibers to their fluffy state.
3. Check for any strange odors or mold spots, and address any issues promptly.
